In just a few short years from it’s inception, the name “Mo” Betta® had become a legend in authentic Western Wear — as clothier to superstars of country music, rodeo champions and many, many thousands who love Western style. We believe your tremendous response to our designs and quality has more than a little to do with the place we call home — Apache, Oklahoma, a small cow-town with a population of about 1,500.Cheyenne Photo Our historic roots and small town values assure you of authentic designs and the finest quality in Western Wear. “Mo” Betta® founder, Maury Tate, is the fourth generation of his family to make Apache home. His mother, Nancy, supervises production. His sister, Mary Kaye, is business manager. Most of the people who will take your order and tailor your shirts are descendants of the Indian families who came here first, or the ranchers and merchants who came when the land was opened for settlement. The cowboy life is still alive and well here. Maury learned the roping skills here that made him a National Circuit Finals Champion. He’s still on the road with his horse almost every weekend — a serious contender for the PRCA National Finals this year.

Thanks for Your Business…
To say that your response to “Mo” Betta” has exceeded all my dreams would be the biggest understatement in history. Just ten years ago, I started designing shirts for myself because I was tired of looking like everyone else on the rodeo circuit. One night after a rodeo, I sold my first “Mo” Betta® right off my back to another professional cowboy. He wanted it and I needed the money.Things just took off after that. At first we took orders at rodeos from other professional cowboys and cowgirls. Then, country music super-stars discovered in “Mo” Betta® shirts what they had been looking for — the unmistakable style of the West combined with unique designs and bright colors in shirts made to the highest quality standards. Today, our shirts are sold not only throughout the U.S., but in other countries around the world. You see them often on album and magazine covers. We’re proud to have the most extensive design selection in Western shirts. Our success has made us about the most imitated brand around. So, to be sure you have an authentic “Mo” Betta® original, look for the white “Mo” Betta® label. White LabelThen, you’ll know I stand behind the comfort, quality and your personal satisfaction.
